Landlords have a legal duty to have gas appliances, pipework and flues in a rented property checked annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and to provide tenants with a copy of the resulting certificate. We carry out landlord gas safety checks across Cheam, Sutton and the surrounding area.
This applies to any rented property with gas appliances, whether it is a single let, a shared house, or part of a larger portfolio, and the certificate needs renewing every 12 months to stay compliant. Missing a renewal date can leave a landlord in breach of their legal obligations.

Landlord legal responsibilities
