CheamPlumbing.co.uk is a trading website operated by WDI Group (Surrey) Ltd (company number 15560511, VAT number 495 8550 36), 1-3 Wealdstone Road, Sutton, SM3 9QN. Any work booked through this website is carried out by WDI Group (Surrey) Ltd.

Charges

Labour is charged at the rates published on our rates page, exclusive of VAT, with a one hour minimum charge and 30 minute increments thereafter. There is no call-out charge and no emergency premium fee. Parts and materials are charged in addition. Larger works such as boiler replacement, bathrooms and air conditioning are quoted as fixed prices before work begins.

Appointments and availability

We do not guarantee arrival times. When you contact us we will advise on availability and the quickest response we can provide, and emergency call-out availability may vary depending on engineer availability. Please give safe access to the property, the boiler or the affected pipework.

Gas work

Gas work is carried out only by Gas Safe registered engineers under registration 968274. Where an appliance is found to be unsafe it will be dealt with in accordance with the current gas industry unsafe situations procedure, which may include disconnection with your permission.

Quotations and estimates

Diagnostic visits establish the cause of a fault; further work or parts may be needed once the cause is known. We will not state that a boiler needs replacing without inspecting it.

Payment

Invoices are payable on the terms shown on the invoice. VAT is added at the prevailing rate.

Insurance and liability

WDI Group (Surrey) Ltd holds £5 million public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
